Delhi to Rishikesh — how to make the journey
Direct bus
Search for a ticket from Delhi to Rishikesh. Check the ticket for the exact boarding station — Kashmiri Gate and Anand Vihar are different stations, and departure is not necessarily from the airport.
Check the drop-off point too. If getting off at Rishikesh ISBT, you need to continue to the guest house area; send your arrival time and drop-off point to your accommodation.
Check trains from Delhi to Haridwar. Haridwar and Rishikesh are not the same city: after arriving, continue by bus or transfer to Rishikesh.
Select your Delhi departure station based on your ticket and book a confirmed seat. Allow time between landing in Delhi and train departure; connection is not guaranteed in case of flight delays.
Private transfer
Ideal for airport pickup directly to your guesthouse. Provide number of passengers, luggage count, landing time, and full address in Rishikesh.
Before booking, request a total price and clarify if fees, parking, waiting, and stops are included. If the guesthouse is in Tapovan, mention it in advance.
Before departing, save a photo of your ticket, guesthouse address, and phone number. Check times and prices for the day of travel, not based on old prices posted in the group.
Choose a travel date from Delhi to Rishikesh, and check the departure time and pickup point for your specific booking.
Specify your final address in Rishikesh. The main station, airport and guesthouse area aren't necessarily the same drop-off point.
Before paying, ask for a breakdown of the number of passengers, bags, seat or vehicle type, stops and what the price includes.
Keep your ticket or booking confirmation and the operator's contact details. Allow time for delays when connecting and check the cancellation terms.
Let your accommodation in Rishikesh know your arrival time and ask for directions from the drop-off point.

Pricing: some fares have been reported, but they aren’t directly comparable (different vehicle types, shared rides and seasons), so no single price is shown here. Rather than guessing, get an accurate quote through our transport system.
Recommendations and tips are based on traveler groups. Contact details shown are from database locations. Prices and times vary on the ground, so they are shown as ranges only when there are enough comparable observations.
