Om Beach in Gokarna is one of the most enchanting spots on India’s west coast: a blend of tranquility, wild nature, turquoise waters and a true sense of freedom. Here’s all the essential practical information:
🏝️ About Om Beach
Om Beach takes its name from the shape of its shoreline, which resembles the Indian symbol "ॐ" (Om). The atmosphere is very relaxed, attracting Israeli, Indian and European travelers. Nearby beaches are accessible on foot or by boat: Half Moon Beach and Paradise Beach (known for being especially quiet and secluded). Along the beach, you’ll find small restaurants, budget huts, yoga, meditation and mellow music in the evenings. You can also spot dolphins offshore.
